Nov. 23nd Monday. Clear and pleasant. Wagons are all loaded and ready to move. It is thought that we will start in the morning. There are a great many rumor as to where we are going. Some say we are going on the Peninsular. Thers still say to fredericksburg. Others still say to Gordonsville. We issued all of the heavy rations that we had on hand. Rurn or says that our cavalry are tearing up the railroad between the rapidan and Culpeper. Got the money for my horse today $50 fifty dollars.
