Nov. 22nd Sunday. Clear and very pleasant today but very muddy. During last night an order carne for the men to carry only five days rations and the waggons to carry ten days rations of hard bread, coffee and sugar and salt. The waggons are not to carry any salt pork. The men have to live on fresh meat. The wagons are to be loaded and inspected by Col Lawler tomorrow. We are allowed two wagons more than we had before. Issued all of the salt pork and that we had on hand. It is believed that we are going to move soon.
