April 30th Saturday
Clear and pleasant in the morning but cloudy and very light showers in the afternoon. Issued one days ration. Supply train went to the station. _____ today. This afternoon General Torbert presented our brigade with a splendid white silk flag. It had a large red ___ in the center. He made a very neat(?) and appropriate speech. A citizen clerk came today for the quartermasters____.
