10th Sunday
Cloud and rainy all day. Rained very hard last night. Went to the regiment today. General Torbert leaves us tomorrow to take command of a division of cavalry. He made his farewell address this afternoon.
11th Monday
Clear and pleasant today. Issued three days rations. The rain of Saturday washed away ___ ___ bridge and so we do not get any mail of papers. There is no communication with washington.
