Sept 13th Sunday Clear and pleasant in the morning. but had a very hard shower in the afternoon. The first regiment was paid today Issued one days rations
14th Monday Cloudy but no rain today Issued one days rations The second and third regiments were paid today Have been very busy today clearing and repairing our large ____ have the diarrhea very bad a party of officers called on Capt Fith and Whelan at night. They had a jolly time Champagne punch was in abundance.
