Sept 5th Saturday Clear and cool today. The Commissary Department was inspected today by Capt. Shofield commissary of the 6th Corps and Capt of the 6th Corps this is the first time that we have had inspection since I have been in the Department. preacher for officer sales.
6th Sunday Clear and quite warm today Saw Mr. Benjamin Anderson of Newton. He arrived after morning I expected to go to the white sulphur springs today but did not get through issuing in time was over to Brigade headquarters
