June 20 Tuesday
Very heavy showers and sharp lighting. two or three men were stunned but none seriously hurt[.] went to corps Hd Q's. No news except rumor of being mustered out which happy event will take place tomorrow or next day. The 5th Wis Vols. started for home today _
June 21 Wednesday
Clear and pleasant our regt is to be mustered out tomorrow. the 37th Mass was mustered out today and leave at ten o'clock tonight. Received an order from corps Hd Q's and issued it to the Brigade
