June 24th
Wensday [sic] Clear and war today Issued one days rations of hard Bread coffee sugar &c. There was about a hundred and fifty rebels passed here today. Supply train went to the landing and brought up bacon flour crushed sugar hard bread and [illegible] vinegar. We can get any kind of Fresh vegetables or fish by sending to the station.
25th Thursday
Was ordered to be ready to move at seven AM. After we got started only to change camp. Moved back to within a half mile of Fairfax parked near Mr Couklins house Our headquarters was [illegible]
