15th Saturday Clear and warm today In the morning issued one days rations and about noon orders came to issue three more It is expected that we will move about tomorrow. Our destination is not known. It is supposed to be alexandria and from there to Charleston S.C.
16th Sunday extremely hot today. went downtown to the Episcopal church had a very good sermon only a little on the secesh style wrote a letter to __ __ Riggs and Clarkson Caue. Issued one days rations. had chicken and new potatoes for dinner
