17th Monday
It was very clear but quite cold today from where we are situated we can see the rebels very plain we can see their tents and wagons and horses. There was a mail to day I did not put up my tent yesterday but it rained a very little today in the afternoon and I went to work and put it up.
Dec 18th,
Thursday It is clear and cold today There is nothing new in camp today at night we received orders to march at eight in the morning.
