Since eleven o'clock last night the firing in front of the ninth corps has been incessant both artillery and musketry we can hear charge after charge. Our division has been engaged since half past three this morning at which time they made a charge in front of Fort Fisher. They have taken the rebel works and plenty of prisoners and are still driving them. The loss is slight compared to that of the rebels.
