Was sick. &lt;br /&gt;14th. &lt;br /&gt;A picknick [sic] party from Readington came upon the ground. Got my likeness taken, the first I ever had taken. &lt;br /&gt;15th. &lt;br /&gt;James McDougle came in camp during night. Harrison Cole came into camp but left early in morning. &lt;br /&gt;16th. &lt;br /&gt;Was detailed for provost guard in Flemington. Duties of provost Guard is to arrest all soldiers without a pass or those that have expired passes. Arrested one soldier was on duty from 9 AM untill [sic] 9 PM.</text>
